About Me

How old are you?
I'm currently 22, but wish I was 18 again. Or 10.

When did you start writing?
I started writing when I was five. The highlight of my career as a five-year-old was writing an illustrated short story (because illustrations were all the rage in the 90's) about a rabbit who got lost in a vegetable patch and couldn't find his way home. Apparently, rabbits were the trend that year.

What are your favourite books?
This is such a hard question for me because I have so many favourites. I love The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, His Dark Materials trilogy, 1984, The Wind in the Willows, Leaf by Niggle, Anna Karenina, Cat's Cradle and Wuthering Heights to name a few. There are many, many more.

Who are your favourite authors?
Another hard question. Tolkien, Kurt Vonnegut, Tolstoy, Jane Austen, Philip Pullman, C.S. Lewis, George Orwell, Lemony Snicket, Emily Rodda, Roald Dahl and Richelle Mead are some.

Where can I get a signed copy of your book?
If you would like me to sign your e-book, head over to Authorgraph and I can do exactly that for you. At the moment I don't do signed paperbacks unless it's through a contest or a giveaway.


About the With Me series

How many books are going to be in the series?
At the moment these are the planned books in the series:

1. Impossible
2. Falling for Hadie
3. Wrong Side of Town
4. First Chances
5. Untitled story with one of the characters from a previous book and a brand new character
6. All for Savannah

Will there be another story about Ashton and Luca?
Apart from the glimpses of them that you may get in future books, no, I don't have any plans to write a direct sequel to their story. I feel as though their story has been wrapped up and I couldn't bring myself to bring more drama into their lives.

Which actors do you picture as Ashton and Luca/Hadie and Lincoln?
While I was writing the book, I never once thought about which actors looked like Ashton and Luca, but now I think that Ben Barnes would make a great Luca. Teresa Palmer would make the PERFECT Ashton.

Lincoln would definitely be Matt Lanter. As for Hadie, I'm not too sure so I'm open to suggestions, but I was thinking maybe Kay Panabaker.

When do the next books in the series come out?
Falling for Hadie is the next book in the series and the official release date is March 7, 2013.

Wrong Side of Town will come out around August, 2013.

First Chances will most likely be an early 2014 release.

I'm not sure about the other books in the series yet.


About The Story of Us

This will probably be a 2014 release. It's a Mature Young Adult Contemporary novel which is a stand alone and completely unrelated to the With Me series.


About the Runaway Mortal series

What is the Runaway Mortal series about?
It's about seventeen-year-old Katerina Lyrille who is accused of a murder she didn't commit. She tracks down a seer who can tell her the name of the actual killer if she finds an object of legend for her.

When does the first book come out?
The release date for Runaway Mortal has been pushed back. I will announce a date when I am done with rewrites.

How many books will be in the series?
Probably 3 or 4.

What is the super secret project about?
What? Who told you about that? *looks around nervously* Um, I have to go and feed my pet iguana, Bubbles, now!
