My favorite YA book? Well admittedly, I am new to the YA genre. But I started with Chloe Neill's "The Dark Elite" series and I've moved forward from there. I have found that I like YA books. Its like a fresh breathe from the other book genre's. Its more light, often less complex and more relateable sometimes. My favorite book so far in YA would be "Hexbound" by Chloe Neill because its the book that really made me want to continue reading YA books. Thanks for the giveaway.

My favorite YA book is The Hunger Games.EVERYTHING about this book is amazing! It's about these kids in the future where the state is divided into 13 districts and the ruler has 2 kids from each district fight to the death on live tv. It's basically gladiators in the future. The action is heart-pounding.And the romance is perfectly done!

My favourite YA is Rot and Ruin by Jonathan Maberry - a fantastic novel following Benny as he grows up and learns the truth about his older brother and his zombie infested world. I can't stress how beautiful this book is! I'm anxiously awaiting the sequel Dust and Decay to come to the UK! :)

I don't really have a # 1 favourite but a favourite is the Strange Angels series by Lili St. Crow - I love them because no matter how many times I read them - the story still keeps me entertained and flipping the pages with excitement.

The Tiger's Curse by Colleen Houck is my absolute favorite read this year. Houck's way with words draws you in, the world is beautifully described, and the characters and their relationships are intense. It's definitely a must-read!!!

Hmmm...guess my favorite YA would have to be Wither at the moment. Why? Lol! Oddly enough it's the orange grove.

My favorite changes all the time, but right now my favorite is The Hunger Games because I love the depth of the plot and the characters.

My favorite YA book right now, and I hate to sound like a broken record, is also The Hunger Games! I just read the first two books in the trilogy and they are so well written, I'm on the edge of seat and chomping at the bit to read the third! That in itself makes it an awesome book to me :)

My favorite YA book is Eragon. Really it's the series not just the first book. I could not put the books down and read all three over a thanksgiving weekend. The fourth and final one comes out in November and I can't wait. I love the descriptions of the landscape and how I feel the emotions of Eragon as he feels them. It feels so real even though the story is fantasy. It makes me want to play D&D

I'm still diving into the YA reads, but I have a few I've loved. :) One being the Hunger Games, which really surprised me. And the second it City of Glass, I loved the world created here and the story told. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the great giveaway! :) I'd love to read Bloodlines. ;) It's on the want list.

I'm having a hard time choosing my fav YA book, because I read so many of them and, for different reasons, I love many of them. I would say that THE HUNGER GAMES is on top with THE MORTAL INSTUMENTS. I love the heroine in th hunger games. She's strong, she's growing, she makes mistakes, she is pure fire. She's insecure at times and she does what she has to. She is surely a girl I'd love to hang with and she's tough. Probably I like her cause I want to be like her but I know I am not like this. Still...
ReplyDeleteAs for TMI, I adore Cassie's sarcasm and irony. The story is lovely but what I really admire is the way she makes her characters come to life, like they are real. Their quirks and memorable quotes are absolutely wonderful.
Another YA that had a great impact on me was Wintergirls. Because I was one of them, I was a wintergirl, and I was lucky to be stopped before it was too late. And I see myself in there so much it almost hurts

My favorite YA novel? That's a tough question! Usually after each book I really like, I think that it's my new favorite! So, I rarely stick with just one. But there is one book that holds a part of my heart . . . Twilight!(: I love the way the words just flow on the pages. It's so romantic, yet suspenseful, yet enthralling. ♥
